Andy Warhol and Playmobil Pop Art

Andy Warhol Playmobil
Is it just me, or does my kid’s Playmobil dude look like Andy Warhol? I added the aluminum foil to his Superstar photo shoot to emulate the fabled Factory, Warhol’s erstwhile NYC-based studio. It looks convincing to me, however, this perception might also mean it’s time to hang out with more adults (remember when we used to talk about art and shit? Now, it’s just shit – or “poop” to use the technical term).

I did a quick search to make sure that I was actually losing my mind and found the image below. I’m not alone.

I explore the creative life as a storyteller, artist, and entrepreneur. I’m the writer-director of Pill Head and the forthcoming feature film Wolf Story. I’m also the author, most recently, of the novel Quantum Deadline, and am active in media (Bohemian, Pacific Sun). Learn how I went from small-town newspaperman to a feature film director here.
