Replica director Raymond “You know me as Scott” Daigle joined the ranks of FilmArt3 this week. We celebrated by guzzling all the Gloria Ferrer at lela+mack and shooting what amounted to a 2001: A Space Odyssey homage . The result of our drunken experiment, Monkey’s Nephew, is now playing here, SonomaSun.com and SVV27. I had intended to synergize the flick’s theme (a sort of seriocomic lament about overcoming our inner primates) with the publication of this week’s Nomaville column (I relay my self-disgust at having devolved while my wife was away on business).
